Office Administrator Vacancy

Tamarisk Designs is a market-leading trade-only, luxury lounge furniture business. All Tamarisk furniture pieces are handcrafted in the UK using a blend of traditional techniques, innovative technology, and high-quality materials. Our goal has been the same since the beginning: to deliver bespoke luxury products made to the highest standards in the UK, featuring a variety of fillings and finishes that provide exceptional comfort and longevity. Tamarisk only sells products through retailers, specifiers and interior designers.

Job Purpose:

You will be responsible for daily administrative tasks which will support the business development, sales, and operations team to build a robust pipeline of sales opportunities, maximise sales and deliver an excellent client experience.

Our client base consists of retailers and interior designers who you will engage with over the telephone and support with face-to-face showroom visits. You will also be required to action customer sample requests, process purchase orders and conduct internal inventory stock-taking for both products and fabrics across two showrooms. Additional duties to support the team may also be required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties will include but not be limited to:

· Supporting sales & operations team with administrative tasks.
· Showcase the Tamarisk Designs offering by phone or in person with our client message at the core. Communicating with clients with a ‘call first’ approach through keep in touch and courtesy calls.
· Keeping the CRM up to date with all client contact.
· Distribution of Swatches and wood boards to clients.
· Generating deals via CRM & ensuring pipeline is accurate at all times. (Order processing).
· Raising purchase orders.
· Internal stock management of inventory in both showrooms.
· Saving quality control images and delivery documents.
· Supporting with maintenance of showroom and assisting with showroom visits when required.

KPIs

Contribution to sales turnover target through accurate order processing.
Monthly or quarterly stock takes of inventory (units and swatch books)
Maintain a high level of calls to customers assisting with courtesy calls and keep in touch calls.
